But it's also easy on the eyes, intuitive to drive, and tons of fun. The Tomahawk is a futuristic machine with impractically impressive stopping power, acceleration, and turning.
In reality, I sat in front of a monitor and a force feedback wheel and played video games for 30 minutes. Additionally, active camber control optimizes suspension geometry, making sure the 325/25R21 front and 425/20R23 rear tires stay planted. Attached to the body of the GTS-R and X are nine active aerodynamic panels that not only shift to aid braking and accelerating, but also move air to generate yaw in the desired direction while turning. Torsional rigidity, we imagine, is through the roof, yet total vehicle weight is just 1500 to 2000 pounds, depending on version. The chassis is a concoction of carbon fiber, titanium, and a yet to be industrialized material called Graphene: an extremely strong, light, and thin allotrope of carbon. In the digital world horsepower is just a number, so why not go big? Peak power? The Tomahawk X gets 2168 hp from the V-10 and another 422 from pneumatics, for a combined 2590. Its hybrid system is not electric, but pneumatic, a big tank of compressed air that drives the front axle. It's a single-seater, hybrid with an extremely wide 144-degree, 7-liter V-10 beating heart attached to the rear axle.
